Mindful Mending Repair Workshop
Event description
Learn the timeless skill of mending your clothes and other fabric items instead of tossing them out, whilst cultivating moments of mindfulness and self-care. Bring something from your mending pile and save it from going to landfill. Learn visible hand mending and basic sewing machine techniques to use on your clothes, toys, soft furnishings, blankets, or anywhere your imagination takes you. Techniques include adjusting hemlines, fixing buttons, zips and worn elastic, reshaping garments, darning, patchwork and embroidery. Limited to 15 attendees.
