Event description

Join us for a free one hour introduction to mindfulness with Jodie Gien.

Sunday 12 February | 7:30pm

When life's circumstances are challenging, we naturally feel overwhelmed as external difficulty or chaos becomes easily mirrored in our own internal worlds. Establishing a sense of calm and safety within provides us with a haven to return to when life becomes rocky and a place of stillness we can source from to bring ourselves back into balance. This is especially true when navigating a difficult fertility journey.

In this one hour webinar, our highly experienced teacher, Jodie Gien gently introduces us to mindfulness with a combination of practical mindfulness tools and fundamental meditation techniques to help us feel calmer, more connected, more grounded and present and become for ourselves the comfort we are seeking.

Sit comfortably and be guided through several 5-10 minute practices to settle the mind and body and allow us to approach both ourselves and our experiences from a clearer place. Jodie will explain the basics of mindfulness and the underlying neuroscience so we can engage with these techniques from a deep place of understanding.

This webinar is designed to support you to continue with the practices on your own at home and in your life, even if you have no prior meditation experience.
