CREATIVE LABS WORKSHOP: Mindfulness in Creativity

Join us for a calming and freely expressive, creative workshop focused on integrating mindfulness into art!

WaterFire Accelerate artist, Sydney Darrow (@sydneydarrowart) will guide you through this interactive workshop which includes:

Introduction to mindfulness and its benefits in art
15-minute guided meditation
45-minute music-based drawing exercise
20-minute closing meditation

Activity Highlights:

Guided posture and breathing exercises
Drawing prompts with a focus on mindfulness
Music-inspired drawing to enhance creativity

Perfect for artists, friends + family, and creative individuals looking to deepen their practice or curiosity for the arts through mindfulness. All skill levels and ages are welcomed!

All materials will be provided but feel free to bring any additional art materials such as a sketchbook or yoga mat to further enhance your experience.
