Who is Mindy? She’s fun. She’s musical. She’s improvised. She’s independent.

She’s a monthly show featuring the Bay Area’s best indie musical improv acts, from seasoned veteran teams to emerging new talent. Every Mindy show is different, showcasing the incredible diversity of talent, style and form here in the Bay Area.

And every Mindy show ends with Jed Needs Friends–a special opportunity for audience members to hop up on stage and play. Jed spends too much time teaching, coaching and performing musical improv, so he never has time for friends! That’s why for 20-minutes each month, Jed will invite audience members on stage to improvise scenes and songs with him, in an effort to win their friendship. Are you a seasoned musical improviser? Brand spankin new to all of this? Jed wants to play with you.
