Minecraft Building Worlds (Ages 7-12)
Date: 26, 30 September & 7 October
Time: 10am - 4pm each day
Location: The Lab, Level 2, Powerhouse Museum
Price: Child $110
Learn, create and play in a Minecraft world specially constructed by the Powerhouse.
In this workshop, young participants will be guided through Minecraft activities and games before changing into Creative Mode to design their own Minecraft creation inspired by the Powerhouse Clay Dynasty exhibition.
This workshop series uses Minecraft Education Edition, a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. The Minecraft world used in this workshop is safe, private and accessible only at Powerhouse.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and a hat as lunchtime activities may take place outdoors.
Advanced bookings essential as places are limited.
For ages 7–12. Available on multiple dates. Where appropriate classes will be split into 7–9 and 9–12-year-old age ranges.
