Minecraft Coding (Ages 7-9)
Date: 28 September & 6 October
Time: 10am - 4pm each day
Location: The Lab, Level 2, Powerhouse Museum

Be introduced to the basics of coding in a Minecraft world, specially constructed by Powerhouse.
In this workshop, young participants will be guided through a series of coding challenges within the Minecraft world, using Microsoft MakeCode block coding to control their agent and make changes to the world.
This workshop series uses Minecraft Education Edition, a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. The Minecraft world used in this workshop is safe, private and accessible only at Powerhouse.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and a hat as lunchtime activities may take place outdoors.
Advance bookings are essential, as places are limited.
