Minecraft Play! (Ages 7-12)

Location: The Lab, Level 2, Powerhouse Ultimo

Learn, create and play in a Minecraft world specially constructed by Powerhouse.
In this workshop, young participants will work together to complete a series of challenges and Minecraft mini games in one giant play session.
This workshop uses Minecraft Education Edition, a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. Participants will be provided with computers for the workshop to develop their computer literacy with keyboard and mouse skills. The Minecraft world used in this workshop is safe, private and accessible only at Powerhouse.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and a hat as lunchtime activities may take place outdoors.
For ages 7–12. Where appropriate classes will be split into groups of 7–9 and 9–12-year-olds.
Advance bookings are essential, as places are limited. Tickets can be discounted using the NSW Creative Kids voucher. To redeem your voucher please call 02 9217 0222. Please note, the Creative Kids program will end on June 30 2023. Vouchers can be used for programs after June 30, however they must be redeemed prior to June 30 to be eligible.
