Mini Art Lab Ages 3-5 (Ōakura) TERM 2

Let your little artists (ages 3-5) experience the joy of process art: 1 hour of free creative exploration, experimenting and play in an inviting and welcoming environment where we celebrate the creative process over the final end result. 

Process art encourages tamariki to think outside the box, experiment with materials, and explore their own ideas without the pressure of creating a perfect final piece. This strengthens:

• Emotional Expression & Regulation
• Decision-Making Skills
• Persistence
• Critical Thinking Skills
• Individuality

Session Details:

• Three Weekly Thursday Sessions on May 29, June 5 and June 12 

• Casual Booking: $30/child per session

• All-Session Booking: $27/child per session

Bring a towel, change of clothes and ensure you and your child/ren are dressed in comfortable clothes ready to get messy.

Parents/caregivers are responsible for their child/ren at all times during the session.

Each session will have a koha-based space. Koha are unconditional gifts and given with the intention of aroha and manaakitanga - kindness, goodwill, support, and/or appreciation of a particular contribution or service. Koha can be given in cash, physical gifts (e.g. food or produce) or something intangible such as good advice. Contribute what you can, or feel is appropriate.
