Minimize the waste that goes into landfill and become a mini maker. Join our creative workshops, led by artists to learn how you can use recycled materials to be creative.

Recycled CactusÂ
Collage Workshop
Learn about the art of collage using recycled papers.
Led by artist Felicite Grogan you will create your own recycled paper cactus artwork to take home.
Meet at Lavington Library where a bus shuttle will pick up all participants* to take you to SMART Centre at the waste management facility.
The buss will pick up participants at 9:30 am. You will arrive at the SMART Centre at 9:45am where a staff member will deliver an engaging talk about recyling! 10am the workshop will begin, and at 11:30 am you will have completed your creative workshop with your artwork to take home and the bus will be ready to drop of participants at Lavington Library.Â

Age: Suitable for ages 7yrs - 12yrs
Price: Free but bookings are essential
* Please note all children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult, during the workshop.

All craft materials will be supplied, but if you would like to bring any books or magazines you would want to use for this workshop, feel free to bring.Â
