Welcome to the Undies gateway!

Join us in whatever outfit takes your fancy on the night — from a thong to a wild costume. This intimate affair will act as the gateway drug to our Undie Party series.

This is where TN.W veterans can bring new faces to check out our crowd, our music... basically... it's a VIBE check for newbies and a space where our OGs can be even more free than usual.

For me personally, being that it's a more intimate setting in a nightclub run by a dear friend, it's a space where I can run around in a little thong and be happy.

Genitals must be covered. All nipples are equal.

While there, say hello to our staff: roaming Consent Guardians, security, and our LUCKY UNDIES stall holder (mostly likely Lisa).

Dresscode: WILD / BARE

There's no strict line here, just a spectrum. I (Lisa) will be setting the tone for how derobed one may be (i.e. my favourite thong), while my partner holds the torch for those who'd rather stay more clothed. Wherever you land between those two poles, you're dressed right - just throw in something wild... something you wouldn't usually wear out.

Creative expression is the law of the land.

22:00 — SHOVAAV feat. HMB (LIVE SAX)

Opening the night for MINI.UNDIES is Shovaav, bringing a warm, groove-led journey designed to ease everyone onto the dancefloor — and out of their layers. Blending deep house, melodic rhythms and organic textures, Shovaav’s sets are playful, uplifting and effortlessly connective, setting exactly the right tone for a night built on letting loose.

Fittingly, “Shovaav” is Hebrew for cheeky, mischief, fun — and that spirit runs through every set. A familiar face within the TN.W community, Shovaav has a talent for creating the kind of atmosphere where conversations become dances, strangers become friends, and the energy builds naturally towards the night ahead.

Originally from England and now based in New Zealand, Bushi is the founder of 47 AFFAIR and, after returning to music production, is beginning to explore and develop his own sound beyond the booth.

Moving between progressive house, indie dance and techno, his sets blend deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms and cinematic melodies. Building with patience before taking unexpected turns into driving basslines, hard-hitting drops and breaks the crowd didn’t know they needed.

Dark, melodic, fun, and unpredictable, Bushi balances soaring harmonies with raw energy, creating journeys designed to keep the dancefloor guessing.

02:00 — SHARKRA

Miss Eclectic SHARKRA started her journey driven by a quest for peace through music, breaking free of genre constraints to make a powerful debut at Ignition Festival in 2019. Since then she's played some of Aotearoa's biggest stages — Splore, AUM and Dimension — and carried her sound abroad to Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, South America, Croatia, Portugal, Spain and Germany.

She joined DoubSquare Records in late 2022 and Ovnimoon Records in early 2023, releasing a compilation album along the way. But it's the connections made on the road she treasures most — every encounter another lesson in the industry, and in how like-minded people express their artistry.

Sharkra blew us away as the closing DJ at CLEAR, and we're beyond excited to have her back to open the world of MINI.UNDIES. Expect genre-defying sets that don't just play to a crowd but shift it — a powerful, eclectic sound that's helped shape Aotearoa's electronica golden era, poured straight from the soul and built to convert non-believers on the dance floor.

Treasure Hunt — search the venue for a double pass to Kinnect Festival (www.kinnectfestival.co.nz), a $50 bar tab, and a piece of TN.W merchandise (one the last remaining pieces before everything is branded Kinenct Wide)... these will be hidden as cards, if you find one, hand it in at the bar to redeem your prize. 

Polaroid Portraits — Capture a moment in time with a one-off instant photograph to take home. Old-school, imperfect and impossible to replicate.

This event is more relaxed in terms of dress code than an Undie Party, however participation of some kind is still required.

Doors open 10pm–12am. After 12am we operate a one-way door system.

No photography is permitted of others without explicit consent. Do not include anyone in a photo that has not given their consent... so definitely no crowd shots.
