Description

Van Diemen's Band's hugely popular Lunchbox Concert Series showcases some of Lutruwita/Tasmania's finest musical talent, alongside interstate and international guests, in an eclectic program of music spanning a rich variety of genres and styles.

Escape the hustle and bustle and step into an oasis of calm listening to beautiful music in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Wednesday 5 August - Mini VDB

Van Diemen’s Band performs Baroque gems for small ensemble, with some of the rarer instruments from the Baroque era taking centre stage - including the viola da gamba, the always-popular theorbo and … the musette! Featuring Julia Fredersdorff (Baroque violin), Laura Vaughan (gamba), Simon Martyn-Ellis (theorbo) and Simon Rickard (musette).
