Event description

Experience the principles of sensory design in this workshop with Ellen Lupton. Each participant will work with a unique scent designed by Christopher Brosius. Using a variety of materials, we will interpret the scents via color, line, and texture. We will discuss principles of sensory perception and enjoy a few perceptual experiments involving taste and smell.

Materials:

  • Scissors
  • Cups for water
  • Sheets of smooth watercolor paper
  • Inexpensive watercolor kits and brushes
