Event description

🌿 Terrarium Workshop for Adults – Spring Time Fun! 🌿 North Canberra

Limited spots available – small class sizes for a calm, focused experience.

In this 1.5-hour workshop, you’ll build your very own miniature rainforest in glass. Learn about the art and science of terrariums while layering natural materials, selecting plants that thrive in humid, low-light conditions, and designing a lush, self-sustaining ecosystem to take home.

This workshop blends creativity, sustainability, and a touch of science:
🌱 Gardening Know-How – Understand soil layers, drainage, and plant care for healthy terrariums
🌏 Sustainability – Work with second-hand glassware and upcycled decorative elements
🎨 Design & Creativity – Arrange plants, moss, and natural accents to reflect your own style
🧘 Mindfulness – Take time out to connect with nature and enjoy the calming process of making

· Feel free to bring a small personal object (max 8cm) such as a figurine, stone, or trinket to include in your terrarium — something meaningful to make it uniquely yours.
· Perfect for plant lovers, creative spirits, or anyone looking for a mindful hands-on activity.
