Join Ted’s WA, Sony and Minibeasts and Butterflies for a hands-on macro photography workshop featuring live minibeasts and expert guidance.

Whether you’re new to macro or looking to sharpen your skills, experienced photographers Stuart Meachem and Ian Stubber will share practical techniques to help you improve your focusing, composition and close-up photography.

With expert handler Louise from Minibeasts and Butterflies, you’ll have the chance to photograph fascinating live subjects and capture details often missed by the naked eye.

Bring a photography mate or come along and meet other photographers. Places are limited, so secure your spot and get ready to see the small world differently.

What to bring:

• Your DSLR or Mirrorless camera (all brands welcome!)  There will be cameras and lenses from Sony to try on the night. Don't forget to charge your batteries and bring spares.

• Bring your macro lens if you own one

• Memory card so you can keep your photos at the end of the workshop.

• Notepad and pen to take notes.
