Morning tea with Education Minister Kristina Kallas
Event description
You’re invited!
Join us for a warm and informal community gathering with Kristina Kallas, Estonia’s Minister of Education and Research, during her visit to Melbourne.
This is a unique opportunity to share your ideas, challenges and hopes. Let's talk about Estonian education, language learning abroad, and how we can keep our cultural roots strong across generations in a global world.
This conversation is open to everyone – parents, grandparents, teachers, learners, community organisers and anyone with an interest in culture, language or the future of the Estonian diaspora. Join the discussion, ask questions and share what matters most to you.
Program highlights
We’ll open the morning with a performance by the Melbourne Estonian women’s choir Kodu Kaja, followed by a short awards ceremony celebrating our community. Minister Kristina Kallas will then share her insights before we move into an open Q&A and discussion.
After the conversation, please stay for light refreshments and friendly mingling with the Minister, the Ambassador Jaan Reinhold and fellow community members.
