Governance training for Boards and Ministers

Session 1 - Which Hat Am I Wearing? With Michael Vanderree & David Ratten

A key to effective church governance is understanding the distinction between Governance and Management and the development of a leadership model that empowers both those who govern and those who manage. A unique challenge faced by churches, revolves around the practical reality that leaders often wear multiple hats – church member, ministry leader, governance leader. Learning how to appropriately wear multiple hats is a key to successful church governance. This session will also discuss the process of developing governance policies.
