Minus18 Youth Hangout: The Art of Us

It's an event designed by LGBTQIA+ young people, FOR LGBTQIA+ young people! 🌈

In honour of IDAHOBIT (the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination) we’re taking over Signal for an afternoon of creativity, connection, and unapologetic queer joy.

This event is all about celebrating our community, making new mates, and getting a little messy (in a glitter and newspaper kinda way)!

🎨 Zine Making – tell your story, share your voice, or just collage something chaotic and cute
🧠 Queer History Activation – explore the rich and radical legacy that got us here
🗞 Newspaper Fashion Runway – yes, it's serving recycled couture realness
🫶 Chill vibes + new friends – whether you're loud and proud or love a quiet moment with a glue stick, there's space for you here

You’ll be welcomed and hyped up by the Minus18 Young Leaders – 20 incredible LGBTQIA+ young people running the show. They're here to guide you through activities, host challenges, and keep the vibes flowing all arvo.

This isn’t a party – it’s a chill hangout packed with creativity, low-pressure fun, and all the rainbow goodness you could want.
