Miro Freitas and The Legends

Due to popular demand, Portuguese international pop star MIRO FREITAS is back!! ... and he can't wait to bring you his new full band show!

Teamed up with Sydney veteran musicians, the Legends of Rock, Miro will bring you an exciting night of dance music including Portuguese, Latin, Italian, Brazillian and English songs.

Miro Freitas commenced his impressive music career at age 13, studying at music school and performing with regional bands in Madeira, Portugal. He quickly made a name for himself performing with the popular band 'Galaxia'. At 21 he launched a project known as 'M&M', exploring Madeira and earning him the opportunity to grace some of its biggest stages.

At 25 he decided to step out on his own and embark on his solo career, which has seen his star rise exponentially. He is now one of the most requested artists at Madeira's festivals, and has taken his talents to the world stage, with great success, travelling and singing in Australia, Sweden, France, UK, South Africa and Canada. His immense popularity has earned him the nickname 'the crowd's boy'!

As with Miro's past Australian shows, local audiences will enjoy a highly energetic performance that gets you dancing and keeps you on your feet all night! 

The Canberra Irish Club features an excellent live music venue with professional sound production and a high quality Bistro at affordable rates.  We recommend you come early to secure a table and grab a great meal! This is a General Admission event only therefore if you wish to ensure you have a seat in your preferred position you should contact the club to book a table
