Cultural Safety and Inclusion in the Arts - Research Study ID: 46428

The Monash Initiative for Rapid Research into Antisemitism (MIRRA) is a major initiative by the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation (ACJC) at Monash University that researches the nature, causes and effects of antisemitism in Australia, and will provide recommendations and support to governments and sectors across Australian society. Our first project focuses on antisemitism in the cultural and creative industries.

Focus Groups

For this project, we are partnering with the Centre of Jewish Artists (COJA) to engage with Jewish artists and leaders from the wider cultural sector. Together, we are hosting 'Cultural Safety and Inclusion' workshops to capture the voices of the Jewish creative community, and how it has been shaped by antisemitism in recent months. If you couldn’t make it to one of our workshops, we invite you to an online focus group.

If you choose to participate in this research projects, 90-minute online focus groups will be held on:

Tuesday 27 May 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Tuesday 03 June 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

If you would like to participate, please complete and return the Consent Form ahead of the focus group. Depending on your preference for confidentiality, your insights during the focus group will be completely anonymous.
