Celebrate Refugee Week 2026 at the Mirrabooka Refugee Week Freedom Cup and Family Fun Day - a free community event bringing people together through sport, culture, connection and family-friendly fun.

This year’s theme, ‘One Million Stories’, recognises the one million permanent humanitarian visas Australia has issued since the end of the Second World War - each representing a story of courage, resilience, hope and new beginnings.

Join local families, community members, service providers and people from refugee backgrounds for a welcoming day that celebrates freedom, belonging and the many contributions refugees make to our shared community.

Enjoy a free BBQ, information stalls, face painting, henna, farm animals, children’s activities and the Freedom Cup.
