Somehow, Christmas is knocking, the silly season is calling, and suddenly everyone’s a sparkling wine expert.

But before you start popping bottles and pretending you are Ron Burgundy at a wine auction, we've got a little festive homework for you. 

Join us for a Christmas-inspired blind tasting with Christine Andrews (WSET L3) of Christine Andrews Wine Club, where we'll put your palate to the test with seven styles of sparkling wine from around the world, guided by the woman who knows her bubbles best.

Expect a little friendly competition, a lot of festive fizz, and a Christmas feast of sliders and charcuterie to keep the good times rolling.

Think of it as your official warm-up for the silly season. Get to know your bubbles before the big shebang, discover your Christmas Day crowd-pleaser, and find out whether you've got a Traditional or Tank Method palate.

• Sparkling on arrival

• Six sparkling wines from around the world served blind (70ml pours) in three flights and paired with Christmas style sliders and mini charcuterie boards.
