Event description

Join this roadshow to debunk the common myths around mistletoe and learn about its vital role in our ecosystems for threatened species and how to propagate it.

Event details:
Join Central Tablelands Local Land Services in partnership with Mid-Western Regional Council and Birdlife Australia for a talk and walk with experts Mick Roderick and Kristy Peters from Birdlife Australia!

Come along to learn about:

  • Regent Honeyeater ecology and conservation. Why this critically endangered bird needs our help.

  • Mistletoe’s role and case studies. How mistletoe boosts ecosystems and success stories from the field.

  • Hands-on propagation. Practical tips on picking and planting mistletoe on your property or project site.

Additional details:

  • Afternoon tea is provided.

  • Registered guests will take home a free copy of the new ‘Mistletoe Propagation in Eastern Australia’ manual.

  • This event will be held both indoors and outdoors. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring sun protection.
