Without taking risks and challenging ourselves we don’t grow.

This is the one of the meanings behind the metaphorical journey of Alice, in this case, Martha. Far from cliches,  embedded deeply and meaningfully in our being, once again we take a trip down the rabbit-hole to Martha’s Wonderland.

Quite a lot has happened since our last encounter in 2019. The upside/comedown have hit us all sideways and yet 3 years and two days later, we are in ecstasy to be able to invite you for another cosmic gathering.

Magic + love is what we stand for in order to fully experience your energy, and co-create vibes that will perhaps re-ignite dreams?

The sound of Martha is a patchwork of a thousand joyful days in the sun. Her incredible flair for deep yet hopeful and kaleidoscopic tunes from all over the world is the pure essence of hard work and innate talent necessary to build a sonic journey like no other. Taste-making, calypso-infused rave reinterpretation in an endless evolving style. In some cultures, including ours, we would say she’s got the “gift.”

Our journey mistress is never alone when sojourning in Downunderland, so we have connected with incredible like-minded female powerhouses to strengthen the potion.

Charlotte K. (emoji eyes) a.k.a DJ Charlotiinha will be gracing the Mixagi booth for the very first time. She is a scrambler by nature and you may have seen her at Zandoli Paradisco or Bare Necessities or as part of the all-female ensemble ILE ILU. Expect latin flavors, afrobeats and a dreamy selection of Brazilian cuts and boogie.

To close the female-energy triad, we are immensely proud to be featuring PUTRIKA, an interdisciplinary artist born in Jakarta now local to Sydney. A singer and songwriter, DJ, producer and part of collective Suara Indonesia, she has no boundaries. Putrika’s sound aesthetics are a myriad of forest, urban and deep yet colorful abyss.

Last, but not least, your Papa 40-year-old trio. Despite being tired, VEN_X, WalkingFish and Astronafrica keep on dreaming. We are all doing some kind of exercise, trying to eat well and somehow are forced to wake up between 5 and 6am by the so-called 'bundles of joy.' We have bought the magic carpet once again and will get to places. 

It’s been fucking 5 years doing it. If previous years were any reference to what we love to do, this year will be a statement that nothing will stop us.
