Workshop Weekend 2026 - Mixed Media Bookmaking

This workshop is a fun introduction to the joys of both mixed media and bookmaking.

You will create a special hard cover book that lays completely flat when open due to a fun hidden binding system. Once you know how to make a book like this, the possibilities are endless and you can make one in any size and paper with ease.

Your tutor Mim Hercus, will help you to create a one-of-a-kind book. The covers will be created using a combination of techniques including printmaking, dry embossing and mark making.

Suitable for those who are keen to dip their toes into being more creative and also for people who have artworks they would love to repurpose or use in different ways.
