Event description

Unlock your intuition and creativity in this unique workshop where sustainability meets divination! Join us for an inspiring day of crafting as we dive into the world of tarot and the art of upcycling.

Participants will learn about the rich history and symbolism of tarot cards while engaging in hands-on creativity by transforming everyday materials into personalized tarot decks. From old magazines to fabric scraps, you’ll discover how to repurpose items into meaningful, one-of-a-kind cards that resonate with your own journey.

Throughout the workshop, we’ll cover:

  • An introduction to tarot: its origins, meanings, and how to read the cards.
  • Techniques for designing and creating your own tarot imagery, encouraging personal symbolism and artistic expression.
  • Tips for choosing materials that reflect your vision and values.

Whether you're a tarot novice or a seasoned reader, this workshop will empower you to connect with your intuition in a new way. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with the start of your own handmade tarot deck and a deeper understanding of how to use these powerful tools for insight and self-discovery.

Bring your creativity and an open mind, and let’s embark on this enchanting journey together! No previous art experience is necessary—just a passion for learning and exploring.

This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+ only. Minors do not have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the workshop. Adults must come inside to drop their minor off with the workshop instructor. Drop off begins 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, and everyone must be picked up at the scheduled end of the workshop.
