The Milwaukee Vintage Style Society invites you to their 2025 summer picnic! It will be held on Sunday, August 17th 11:30 - 4:00 at Root River Parkway site #2, which is the same site as last year.

Lunch will consist of a catered buffet featuring sandwiches and vintage style salads. As always there will be a dessert baking contest - this year's theme is cookies! If you wish to participate in the contest please send an email to mke.vintage.style.society@gmail.com for rules and more information.

After lunch we will have live music from Professor Pinkerton and Friends, as well as picnic games like bocce, croquet, and badminton.

Also returning to the picnic will be the free table! If you wish to participate in the free table please bring in a vintage item or 2 that is in good shape but needs a new home. Any items not claimed at the end of the picnic will be donated to a vintage-friendly charity.

As always vintage and vintage-style fashions are encouraged but never required at our events. We are not era specific and we leave the interpretation of what is vintage up to you! We firmly believe in "Vintage Style, Not Vintage Values" and welcome everyone to our events, but we extend an extra-special welcome to members of the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities.
