MND Study Day

A full day of learning focused on understanding and managing motor neurone disease (MND). The programme features a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including neurologists, respiratory physicians, a gastroenterology CNS and experienced therapists.

The day will also include presentations from people with lived experience of MND and a specialist in palliative care, offering valuable insights from both professional and personal perspectives.

Interactive panel discussions and question-and-answer sessions will provide opportunities to explore key topics in greater depth and engage directly with the speakers.

Getting to Middlemore Hospital:

Car parking: There are limited car parks at Middlemore Hospital — consider using public transport. Parking is charged by the hour at Middlemore Hospital. If driving, car share where possible. The closest car park to the Ko Awatea Centre is car park 4.

Bus and train: The bus stop and train station are located outside the Galbraith Building entrance of the hospital, which is on Hospital Road. Once in the main entrance, follow the Rainbow Corridor to the Ko Awatea Centre, using the wayfinding boards for directions.
