Join us for the inaugural Mo Bo Bash, a community celebration bringing together live music, local food, inspiring conversations, family activities, and the people who make Bolinas so special.
After spending the last few years building my music career and traveling the world, I wanted to bring something meaningful back to the community that helped shape me. Mo Bo Bash is more than a music event. It's an opportunity to reconnect with neighbors, celebrate local talent, create new memories, and welcome visitors into the unique spirit of Bolinas.
Whether you've lived here your whole life, grew up here and moved away, enjoy Bo as a weekend getaway or are discovering Bolinas for the first time, this event is for you.

We'll kick off the evening with a CommUnity Conga Circle led by Jerry Bojeste, open to everyone willing to jump in and keep a beat!
As dinner service begins, Amber Hines will get the youth moving and grooving with fun, interactive music and dance activities designed for kids and families.
Next, join Sunny Pavel for an inspiring presentation and live Q&A, "The Power of Intentional Listening: Using Music to Regulate the Nervous System," exploring how music can be a powerful tool for wellness, connection, and emotional regulation.
Then settle in for acoustic performances featuring talented artists from across Marin County, including Sofi Rox, Kiva Music, and Jacob’s.
As the evening builds, Olright, a Bolinas local music maker, art teacher, and radio DJ, will bring his freestyle, sample-based sound to help transition the night from acoustic performances into a more beat-driven energy.
We’ll close out the night with a headlining performance by Garnett Silver-Hall, backed by DJ Omatic of Epicenter Sound, for an unforgettable celebration of music, community, and home.
Dinner tickets include A Taste of Love by Maitreya! Locally prepared meal featuring fresh, locally grown produce from Gospel Flat Farms.

Garnett Silver-Hall
Garnett Silver-Hall is a rapper, producer, athlete, and community builder from Bolinas and Oakland, California. Known for his introspective lyrics, dynamic flow, and message of resilience, Garnett uses music to tell stories about growth, identity, perseverance, and the people who shape us. A lifelong wheelchair user born with arthrogryposis, Garnett has built a path that moves across music, adaptive sports, performance, and advocacy. He has performed at major disability culture events across the country, appeared in the LA28 Paralympic Handover celebration, and was selected for Coachella’s A+ program, where he performed as part of the festival’s creative community. At Mo Bo Bash, Garnett returns home not just as a performer, but as the heart behind the event, bringing together music, food, family, and hometown love for a true Bolinas community reunion.
Olright
Olright is a Bolinas local art teacher & music maker as well as radio DJ. As a Long time sampler head, he blends a love for music across genres and styles. When in show-mode he emphasizes freestyle, improvisation and loop based experimentation. More at olright.bandcamp.com
Jacob's
Jacob’s is an indie-pop singer songwriter raised in Mill Valley, California. Lots of Jacob’s musical inspiration comes from the nature that the Bay Area provides and draws from personal experiences throughout his adolescence. Now based in LA, he can be found at local festivals performing his vulnerable and genre bending songs. His new EP “Pre”, releases July 17th on all streaming platforms!
Kiva Music
Kiva has been performing since the age of six, starting as an Elvis impersonator, singing to the karaoke track of “Blue Suede Shoes” at the Sonoma County Fair. Kiva wrote his first song at the age of seven. Titled“I’m a lucky boy” he wrote about having pneumonia for the fourth winter in a row yet recognizing his privilege in being able to stay home and play Sorry with his dad, even though Kiva had to miss Cirque du Soleil with his mom and sister. Kiva’s current projects include The 529s, Kiva Music, and Kiva & Callum. Kiva is touring this summer throughout the bay area with his band KOI. Kiva studies cognitive science and minors in music at UCLA. Kiva’s goal is to spread love and happiness through bringing people together. If you want to make him happy, you should do a silly dance move. Catch him surfing the grion (sea drift right) or biking around Bolinas. He loves this town.
Sofi Rox
What does it mean to be the settler and the settled and how do music and performance build active social justice communities? What is in your dirt? Once celebrated for her songs of nature and love with simple accompaniment, Sofi Rox is an artifact now, but Sofi Rox is Dead lives on.

An engaging science-backed talk on the benefits of strategic and intentional listening. How music influences the nervous system and how intentional listening can be used as a tool to effectively manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and improve overall well-being.
Music and Movement for the Youth with Amber Hines
Through rhythm, song, and story, Amber weaves a culture of the heart, tending the space between us with presence and deep care. Within this space, she guides us to reconnect with our true nature and our inherent desire to collaborate, cooperate, and flourish together in community. A transformative, heart-centered approach to music education that cultivates authentic connection, creativity, and joy. This method weaves together traditional and contemporary music, original compositions, dance, and storytelling—enhanced by live drum accompaniment—to create an engaging and embodied learning experience. This interactive performance invites participants to explore, restore and strengthen connection to self, source and one another. Song, movement, story and play support our inherent nature to collaborate, cooperate and thrive.
