Moana Mayatrix welcomes you to the third instalment of her House Concert Series this Autumn - an intimate live music experience sharing the evolving world of her solo project.

This special series is a season of experimentation, exploration, and artistic unfolding, inviting you to witness something rare, immersive, and unforgettable - the kind of night that leaves you saying, “I can’t believe I just experienced that in a little house somewhere!”

Expect an atmospheric journey of music, storytelling, and sonic immersion that will transport you somewhere beyond the everyday.

For the first set, Moana will be joined by the exquisite cellist Allie Rose, whose rich, luscious tones will add another layer of depth, emotion, and cinematic beauty to the evening - making this already intimate performance even more special.

For the second set, Moana will bring a hypnotic fusion of badass and mystical song, performance art, and powerful storytelling that will leave you riveted and enlivened.

Opening the night is the warm, groove-leaning music of Ruby May in a rare and special unplugged set, with soul-soaring vocals and guitar setting the tone for the evening.

Throughout the night DJ Matrika will bless your ears with sultry dark disco and indie dance frequencies, keeping the energy flowing between sonic worlds.

Decadent snack plates will be provided for all ticket holders, with sangria, punch, tea, and coffee available for purchase throughout the evening.

Moana Mayatrix

Moana Mayatrix is a Māori-Australian multidisciplinary artist and musician hailing from the South West of Western Australia, conjuring a musical world that embodies both the delicate ethereal heart and the fierce wild spirit of the feminine.

Through her original songs, Moana draws audiences into mystical, spiritual, emotional - and sometimes dangerous - storytelling journeys that traverse folk, blues, soul, and rock.

Once described by Triple J as “one of Australia’s fiercest front-women” for her vocal prowess and captivating live performances with her heavy rock project Mayatrix & The Psychics, she has spent recent years developing her solo body of work. Her music is already making waves, including performing at the iconic Sydney Opera House in support of The Cult in 2024 and headlining the Creality Touring Arts Festival in Western Australia in 2023.

Ruby May

Ruby May makes warm, groove-leaning music that’s moved through different seasons over the years—from solo sets to band life and into production. These days she’s keeping things simple, coming back with just voice and guitar, playing a mix of old favourites and new songs as they come. It’s a pretty gentle return to the stage after some time away, and a bit of a full-circle moment.
