MODA is a discovery platform for emerging independent fashion. We showcase designers who don't have a runway yet — alongside live music, in venues that change the way fashion feels. No gatekeeping, no designer fees, no hierarchy.

What is The Emergence?

The name of the movement. If you've felt something shift — an obsession with what's next, with fashion that doesn't play by the old rules — you might already have it. Sydney AW26 is the treatment. There is no cure.

What time do doors open?

Doors open at 5:30PM. We advise all guests to arrive between 5:30 and 6:30pm so you catch the event initialisation at 6:35pm. Presentations and DJ sets run throughout the evening. Plan to stay — this isn't a sit-down-and-leave situation.

Where is White Bay Cruise Terminal?

White Bay Cruise Terminal, Robert Street, Rozelle NSW 2039. On the harbour, under the gantry cranes. You'll know it when you see it. Transport options including shuttle services will be announced closer to the event.You can arrive by car/taxi/uber. Importantly you must be dropped off at the venue - guests will not be able to walk to and from the venue and access gate on Robert Street

Whatever makes you feel like you. There's no dress code. Some people dress up, some dress down, most dress interesting. The only rule is there are no rules.Moda is placed on a Saturday so you have ample time and clarity to ponder, select, dress and pamper yourself before the show.

Can I buy the clothes I see on the runway?

Yes. Every collection presented is available to purchase through The Shop — on the night at the venue and online afterward. See it, want it, get it. Direct from the designer.

Is there food and drink?

This is a drinks, food and music event. Food and drink curation will be announced closer to the event.

Is the event accessible?

Do you dream? We dream.

Most dreams are ephemeral, whimsical in nature, never truly destined to be blessed with existence.

There is a reason for this. If everyone’s dreams came true, would desire persist?

Maybe… someday… is what gets us up every day.

Some dreams are only meant to be dreamt.

But what happens if you blur the line? If you experience desire and fulfilment simultaneously?

What happens when you experience something you shouldn’t — collectively?

Does it persist? Does it grow? Does it… spread?

If faced with the choice, would you quash it? Or is there a fire inside you? Maybe you, like us, might decide the cup is worth spilling.

TREATMENT INFORMATION

MODA Designer's Sydney AW26 showcase — a night of emerging independent fashion, live music, and culture at White Bay Cruise Terminal. Ten of Australia's most compelling emerging designers present their Autumn/Winter 2026 collections alongside six DJs in a venue built for spectacle.

THE VENUE

White Bay Cruise Terminal. Industrial cathedral on Sydney Harbour. Gantry cranes overhead, harbour views through floor-to-ceiling windows, 12-metre ceilings. Built in the 1960s for ocean liners — repurposed for something the maritime industry never saw coming.

You've never experienced fashion like this. And once you do, you won't want it any other way.

WHAT YOU GET

12 designer presentations — curated emerging talent presenting AW26 collections on the runway. Every designer shows for free.
6 live DJ sets — electronic music woven between presentations. This is a dance floor, not a seated show. The music doesn't stop.
The Shop — see it on the runway, buy it on the night. Direct from the designer. No wholesale, no markup, no waiting.
No levels — We designed Moda to be a VIP experience at every level. This means - no cordoned-off sections, no chairs. Everyone is in it. Together.

TICKET GATES

Your gate is your entry. Add-ons — including drink on arrival, and transport to and from the venue — will be available closer to the event.

Refund policy

Ticket Refund Policy — MODA Designer Sydney AW26 This refund policy applies to MODA Designer Sydney AW26, an event presented by Love Shy Art Club Pty Ltd (ABN 81 684 280 046) ("MODA"). By purchasing a ticket you agree to the terms below. Cooling-off period. You may request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase by contacting hello@modadesigner.live. After 24 hours, no refunds will be issued for change of mind. Ticket transfer. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person free of charge via your Humanitix booking page up to 24 hours before the event. Non-attendance, late arrival, refusal of entry. No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, late arrival, or refusal of entry. Entry may be refused on reasonable grounds at the discretion of MODA event staff, including behaviour, intoxication, or dress code. Postponement. If MODA postpones the event, your ticket will automatically be valid for the rescheduled date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund of the ticket face value (excluding booking fees) within 14 days of the postponement being announced. Cancellation by MODA. If MODA cancels the event, ticket holders are entitled to a refund of the ticket face value. Booking fees charged by Humanitix are retained by Humanitix and are not refundable. Refund requests must be lodged within 30 days of the cancellation announcement. Events beyond our reasonable control. Where the event is cancelled, postponed, curtailed, or relocated due to circumstances beyond MODA's reasonable control — including but not limited to withdrawal of venue access by the venue operator, severe weather, government or public health order, civil disturbance, or other force majeure events — MODA will use reasonable endeavours to reschedule. Where rescheduling is not possible, refunds of the ticket face value will be issued where required under Australian Consumer Law. MODA's liability is limited to the ticket face value paid. MODA accepts no liability for any consequential costs incurred by ticket holders, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or related expenses. How to request a refund. Email hello@modadesigner.live with your booking reference. Refunds are processed via Humanitix to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear. Events beyond our reasonable control.
