Have you ever wanted to try your hand at quilting, but didn't know where to start? This is the class to take those first steps and learn how to make patchwork blocks in your own style, as well as learning how various patchwork patterns and blocks are achieved.

By the time you finish you will know your fat quarters from a Bargello and many of the obscure acronyms in between!

All materials are provided, just come along and give it a go! Having some hand sewing experience is helpful, but this class supports absolute beginners

What will we cover?

This class will provide you with the absolute basics involved in patchwork for quilting. We will cover stitching, the block patterns used and a concise history of where and why quilting exists.
