Evaluate how you as an individual, or organisation, may be able to contribute to building a robust healthcare response to Modern Slavery in Australia.

1730- 1745 Introduction, Dr. Jamie Burrows, Emergency Physician.
1745-1815 Survivor Panel Discussion- personal stories of modern slavery in Australia and experiences of accessing healthcare.
1815-1845 Modern slavery is a public health issue- what does the evidence show? Dr Hanni Stoklosa, Emergency Physician and CEO of HEAL Trafficking.
1845-1900 Risks and indicators of modern slavery in Australia- Speaker TBC.
1900-1945 Dinner discussion and interactive activity- How to ask the right questions to identify risks and indicators in your patients.
1945-2015 To screen or not to screen- evidence review and insights from a Sydney screening pilot, Dr. Jamie Burrows, Emergency Physician.
2015-2040 The "It's Healthy to Fight Modern Slavery" initiative, Michael Cecelio, Project Manager at The Office of The NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner.
2040-2105 How to Respond- a Referral Framework, Eve Wintergreen, Registered Nurse and St. Vincent’s Australia Modern Slavery Project Manager.
2105-2120 Survivor Connections- A Relational Remedy Framework; the first survivor-led, formal peer support initiative in the Australian antislavery sector, Sarah Schricker, RN and Lived Experience Advisor to The Office of The NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner.
2120-2200 Dessert discussion and interactive activity- How can you contribute to building a robust health response to Modern Slavery in your area?
