Moments of Change
Event description
Moments of Change - Talks
Confidence, courage and joy - to face life's challenges and make a positive impact on the world. We think that this is most needed today.
That's why we're excited to introduce a new format: Our Moments of Change - Talks. In these sessions, remarkable individuals will share their personal journeys of overcoming obstacles. You will hear about the difficulties they faced, the lessons they learned and the growth they experienced. After their 30 minute talks, the speakers will engage in an open discussion, answering questions and exchanging ideas with you.
From the former Miss Austria, who opened the series in September and talked about her journey from outer to inner beauty after a vertebral fracture, to a horse whisperer in Chile who guides animals using only movements and talked about the power of listening.
On November 26th, Stefan Kainz will share his story "live" in front of an audience at Zoku Hotel Vienna. The event will be streamed as well.
Born in Salzburg, Stefan was someone who for a long time defined himself solely in terms of performance. And very successfully at that: with a background in economics, he became head of an investment bank early in his career. Top performance. Top earnings. At some point, he realized that there was more to life. And began to search. He took a year off, hiked from Salzburg across the Alps to Trieste, and when he came back, he was a different man. He sold his car, became a climate activist and relaunched a crowdfunding platform for climate projects. He talks to us about the manager's hamster wheel, swimming in mountain lakes, our responsibility for the next generation and the experiences along the way that changed him for good.
Experience unique encounters, like in real life. You are there or not. No strings attached, no hidden course offers. Your participation will be based on the principle of gift economy and paying forward for the next participants of the series. Come for the inspiration, the joy and the sense of possibility that will stay with you long after the event ends.
