Mon 7pm Yoga: Casual
60min class focusing on asana (the postures) & finishing with a short session of pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation. The following props are provided for you - Mats, Bolsters, blocks, cushions, sandbags, eyepillows, blankets.
Prerequisites: Moderate level of mobility required.
New students please contact Jenny here before enrolling to see if you require a new student intro. New student intro is highly recommended in order to ensure that you have appropriate posture modifications to use if necessary. It also allows you to become familiar with the style of yoga and techniques taught at The Yoga Shed.
About the Class
Asanas or postures will be included that help you to develop strength, flexibility and balance all of the major systems it they body including digestive, reproductive, respiratory, endocrine and nervous system. You'll also benefit from an aerobic element to the class with our signature 7 rounds of sun salutes practice to the beat of the djembe drum. You'll also learn and practice the more subtle aspects of yoga in the form of pranayama (breath work) and meditation.
Activate prana, balance it and then focus it.
This is a course with an educational component. You'll discover the benefits of each yoga practice and how to practically apply the techniques of yoga to daily life.

We take the time to get to know our students and support them on their evolutionary journey through yoga. This is something that you can't get from gym yoga or global online yoga.
