Monadnocks Conservation Reserve

Monadnocks Conservation Park incorporates huge granite domes surrounded by beautiful diverse forest.  The popular Bibbulmun Track passes through the park.

 There are two options - 9kms or 5kms - approximately.  

Option 1, the 9km walk, includes challenging steep gravel and granite outcrops.  Recommended for experienced walkers only.  Grade 4.

Option 2, the 5km walk is on gravel that can be loose, with some upward slopes to reach the crest of the range.  This will be at an easy pace and will suit slower walkers.  Grade 3.

We will all register at the Bruno Gianatti Hall, Munro Street, Jarrahdale. Following registration all walkers will car pool and drive to the Monadocks Conservation Park, approximately 30 minutes.  

We recommend the following - good walking shoes, hiking poles, water, weather protection and insect repellent.  Bring a snack to have along the way.
