What is User Experience (UX) and usability?

UX encompasses all aspects of a user’s interaction with a product, service or system. It focuses on creating products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences, including the user’s perceptions, emotions and responses resulting from their interaction with the product or service. Usability on the other hand, is a specific part of UX that focuses on how effectively, efficiently and satisfactorily a user can interact with a product or system to achieve their goals. It's a measure of the ease of use and learnability of a product.

Both are integral to patients and clinicians when accessing the tools, information and services they need to achieve the best health outcomes possible.

Enhance your professional practice and patient care by mastering the principles of usability and user experience. Register now to secure your place in this exclusive masterclass which may be tax deductible or funded by your organisation.
