Mahinda Seneviratne, Board Member, International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH)

A strategist in occupational health & safety with interest in improving the working conditions of marginalised vulnerable migrant workers. Mahinda has over 20 years experience as a specialist inspector at a WHS regulator in Australia and will share observations on the occupational health of migrant workforces in Asia-Pacific region and their research needs.

Deborah Glass, Professor, Monash Centre for Occupational & Environmental Health, Monash University

An expert in occupational exposure assessment for epidemiology, Deborah helped develop OccIDEAS, an online individualised occupational exposure calculator, which has been used to explore carcinogens exposure by ancestry. She has also led a European working group which published a position paper on Migrant Workers Occupational Health Research.

Matt Kunkel, CEO, Migrant Workers’ Centre

Prior to his current role, Matt spent 5 years working for the Victorian Trades Hall Council in union and community liaison roles. Now he leads an organisation set up to educate migrant workers about their rights and to campaign collectively with them, to defend and extend those rights.
