Term 4 Week 7: Pinwheels

Decorate pinwheels using textas and ribbons AND decorate a round paper lantern using collage! A double art Club!

Welcome to Monday Arvo Art Club!

Hosted by local artist and mum Elle Dawson-Scott (www.instagram.com/saskiaandshadow), with the aim of bringing fun, affordable and stress-free art classes to the Glenelg area.

Create something different each week! We will explore a range of art styles and materials including painting, drawing and sculpture across the term.

Who can join in?

Art Club is suitable for all primary school aged children, and anyone is welcome. Activities are primarily aimed at R-4 but older children are welcome too. The aim of the Art Club is to create a fun space where kids can try something new, no previous knowledge or skills are required.

Parents: Please note that parents will need to stay on site for the duration of Art Club, to help with duty of care, toileting etc. We will have access to a second room where parents and younger siblings are welcome to hang out during the session, especially useful over winter!

Where and when?

Art Club is held every Monday afternoon between 3:15-4pm, in the art room at St Leonards Primary School. There will be an A-frame sign and posters out the front of the art room to help you find your way!

To book:

Booking is necessary to ensure your spot and to make sure there are enough materials for everyone. There is also limited space in the art room. There will be a Humanitix event for each week which will detail the activity we will be exploring that week. There is no need to book for a whole term, I understand that families have different schedules and needs, so only book for the classes that you would like to attend. Obviously I'd love to see you there as often as you would like!
