About Us

Hi! We're Rach and Mon, and we love talking about money (but we didn't always). In the last few years, we've realised how important it is for women to have a safe environment to ask questions and talk about money without judgement. That's why we've created Money Matters, an event series where women can come together to learn and talk about all things money. 

Rachel Hopping

Rach is currently the Head of Strategy at share trading and superannuation platform Superhero, and also runs Unbroke, a mortgage broking business. She's passionate about helping women to understand their money and start investing, and spreading the word that you don't need a finance degree and can start with as little as $100!

Monica Omtha

Mon is a Tech recruiter at a leading technology recruitment agency the Onset. Her background in life, and exposure to the lack of financial literacy of the people around her is what motivates Mon to educate women about Finance 101. Mon’s always been the person her friends go to to ask about where they can educate themselves better or what to invest in, what platforms are useful and so she wants to support more women at scale.
