Description
Monitoring Miyawaki pocket forests helps track ecological recovery, measure climate impacts like urban cooling and water use, and engage communities in hands-on science. Join Dr Grey Coupland of Murdoch University's Miyawaki Forest Outreach Program as she teaches you the monitoring methods she teaches her students. After all, why should kids have all the fun! Dr Coupland will teach you how to track plant growth rates, plant survival, animal and insect biodiversity, and above and below ground microclimate changes.

There is a charge of $40 for this course with proceeds going to Murdoch University's Miyawaki Forest Outreach Program.
