Event description
Monoprinting is fun and expressive. Collage is slow paced and considered. Take some time for yourself this Winter to get creative, meet new people and give original artworks to the special people in your life.
In this workshop you will:
Find colour and texture inspiration in our Winter community garden (whilst noticing and appreciating nature’s beauty and what it provides)
Create your very own monoprints inspired by your colour and texture records from the garden
Use your monoprint textures to create festive collage cards for the special people in your life!
This session is suitable for beginners, no experience necessary. All equipment and materials provided.
This workshop is hosted by Erin Rhode. She is a local artists and her practise sees her make abstract mono-print and collage artworks full of colour, texture and joy! She holds ‘creative curiosity, community and nature’ at the core of her workshops.
Location & Nearest Subway Station
Gathering Ground is located along the Forth & Clyde Canal on Applecross Street. The venue's nearest tube station is Cowcaddens or St Georges Cross.
There is on street parking around the venue. The closest Nextbike Station is located on Garcube Road.
About the Venue
The workshop will take place in the upstairs workshop spaces. The venue is fully accessible & with a ramp from street & accessible lift to the first floor.
