ABOUT ABBY DOBSON
ABBY DOBSON has had a wonderful and long career as a singer, songwriter, performer and producer. She has been writing, performing and recording music since 1990.
She was a founding member of the hugely successful band, Leonardo’s Bride; their chart-topping song, ‘Even When I’m Sleeping’, winning APRA ‘Song of the Year’ and later voted as one of the APRA’s ‘Top 20 Australian Songs of All Time’.
Abby has released two solo albums of her original compositions; ‘It’s Okay, Sweetheart’, and ‘Rise Up’, that she produced and co-produced.

She has also released three albums with her magnifique project, Baby et Lulu - penning, performing and producing songs in French and touring around the country as a 6-piece band. ARIA nominated, Baby et Lulu has been performing regularly, and with great joy and acclaim, for 15 years.
She has also contributed to many other artist’s recording projects, like Paul Mac’s two gold-selling albums.

Abby has several gold records and has been nominated for many ARIA Awards. Her originals songs have twice won awards in the International Songwriting Competition and been covered by other International artists. She has been commissioned to write songs for television and musical theatre. She has been invited to sing with - Neil Finn, Daniel Johns, Alex Lloyd, Mark Seymour, Leo Sayer, Rai Thistlethwaite, and Katie Noonan. Abby honed her craft as a singer-songwriter busking the streets of Paris, Athens, & New York, making people weep with her soulful voice and captivating presence.Abby is an ambassador for APRA and is a highly regarded and much-loved artist.
