Event description

Join us on Saturday, February 24 for a day hanging at the Montecito Hot Springs in Santa Barbara! Montecito Hot Springs is an old abandoned hot springs resort from the 1800's located in the San Padres Forest in the coastal mountains of California. We'll make the trek up the canyon to view the stone ruins and exotic plantings, the only remnants of the hot springs resorts. It is a very natural hot spring. The locals created rock-walled cascading pools. Be sure to bring your bathing suit!

Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends, and get ready to enjoy the outdoors.

EVENT DETAILS:

10:00 AM – Meet at Republic of Pie
10:30 AM – Depart
12:00 PM – Arrive at the hike entrance
1:30 PM – Snack break on the trail
2:45 PM – Conclude hike: Head to a local Eatery for food and drinks
4:30 PM - Depart back to Republic of Pie

Refund policy

No refunds or credits unless the event is canceled. We cannot issue refunds or credits for anyone testing positive for COVID or other illnesses. If the event is rescheduled due to inclement weather (dangerous or unsuitable for the course of activity), ticket purchasers will be offered refunds if they notify us within 72hrs that they are unable to attend the rescheduled date. We strive to make Outsiders a diverse and affordable adventure opportunity for everyone. Keeping our ticket prices accessible to everyone is one of the main reasons for our no-refund policy. If you are not dressed in weather-appropriate gear or if your attire is deemed unsuitable for the activity, we have the right to turn you down for the safety of the group and yourself. If you have any medical conditions or injuries that might prevent you from completing the trip, please consult your physician to confirm your ability to partake in the activities safely. Gloves and hats are required for winter trips Windproof gear is a must for winter trips
