Monthly Brown Bag Session - May
Description
Presenting is a very important skill for a researcher. We are introducing monthly Brown Bag sessions to provide a safe space to practice your presentation skills to fellow candidates. Sessions will run for 1 hour, with a maximum of 4 presenters per session. If you are keen to present, please self-nominate in the Excel spreadsheet by inputting your details into the table for your preferred month. Under 'Feedback', you can opt in or out of receiving feedback on the day with a 'Y' or 'N'. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn what your peers are researching, and hopefully get in a little networking.
Sessions are set up as hybrid to encourage candidates who are not at Kensington Campus to attend as well.
Why is it called 'Brown Bag'? Brown bag sessions usually run over lunch time, and if you bring your lunch to school/work it may be in a brown paper bag ... this may be more of an American thing?
