Overview:
From July to November 2025, our Monthly Cooking Workshop brought together culinary enthusiasts for hands-on sessions celebrating seasonal ingredients, cultural traditions, and festive themes. Each session featured a unique dish, offering participants the opportunity to learn authentic techniques, discover global flavors, and share the joy of cooking in a warm, collaborative environment.


Workshop Highlights by Month

🗓 19 July 2025 — 法式酥皮浓汤 (French Puff Pastry Cream Soup)
Participants learned to prepare a classic French cream soup topped with a golden, flaky puff pastry. The session focused on soup thickening techniques, pastry handling, and elegant plating.

🗓 16 August 2025 — 中式素锅贴 (Chinese Veggie Potstickers)
This workshop centred on making traditional Chinese potstickers from scratch. Attendees made their dumpling dough, prepared veggie fillings, and practised folding and pan-frying techniques.

🗓 13 September 2025 — 中秋满月虾饼 (Mid-Autumn Full Moon Shrimp Cakes)
In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, participants made moon-shaped shrimp cakes inspired by festive traditions. The focus was on shaping, seasoning, and achieving the perfect golden crust.

🗓 18 October 2025 — 万圣节南瓜派 (Halloween Pumpkin Pie)
This seasonal session explored the art of pie-making using fresh pumpkin purée. Participants decorated their pies with spooky-themed pastry cutouts.

🗓 22 November 2025 — 感恩节特辑纸包鱼 (Thanksgiving Special: Baked Fish in Parchment)
Closing the fall series, this Thanksgiving-themed workshop introduced a healthy alternative to traditional roasts. Participants learned to bake fish, locking in flavor and moisture.
