Monthly Women's Wisdom Circle October 2022

Women have always gathered to share their lives and wisdom. 

This is a Circle of sharing and is near to the time of Beltaine. Beltaine is the first seasonal celebration of late Spring/early Summer, and in the Wheel of the Year, is the first celebration of the Mother as Lover. The Circle will also be held on Day 3 of a New Moon- said to be the most creative day of the Lunar month. The themes of the Circle will be connected with Beltaine and New Moon- what do you bring to your world as Lover? What are you (or do you wish to) create?

We will use a Talking Bowl and "she who holds the bowl is the only one who speaks". We will hold space for each other and with sacred listening come together in a way which is life giving. A guide will be offered for themes/questions to speak to. Speaking can be as much or as little as is comfortable for you. Individuality and confidentiality are important premises of the group. What is shared in Circle stays in Circle.

Crafting in Circle is welcome- lots of women love to knit or crochet or felt. Babes in arms are also welcome.

A great time to begin. The intention for Circle is to deepen connection with self and other women- and also to deepen connection with Cyclic Wisdom (let's have a Matricyclical world instead of a patriarchal one!). There may be some teaching about the wisdom of the cycles (solar, seasonal, lunar, menstrual, life) and this will evolve organically in response to the life of the Circle.

These Circles are held monthly- the next one is scheduled for 25th November. 2023 Circles to be announced soon.
