Come out for the most amazing natural experience. PSHS Inc. (formed in 1938) is hosting a Summer Music and Art Festival. Three days of music, and yes, in the nude. Clothing is optional at this event. PSHS is a resort that offers camping, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, social hall, trails for hiking, volleyball and much more. The Festival will host artists from many different backgrounds. Over 30 performers will provide music to relax and jam out to. Bands, DJ’s, and solo artists will fill the air with amazing sounds. There will be vendors selling their artwork, jewelry, clothing and crafts.

This will be the fifth year for the event. Last year was amazing! Each and every artist rocked the stage with a level of talent that left fans in awe. There was music to sit and relax to, light shows, and DJ dance mixes that put everyone on their feet. Year four is going to take it to a whole new level.

Bring a tent and what you need for the weekend. (Showers & bathrooms are provided) Food will be available Friday-Sunday. There are limited RV sites and car camping sites. All cars must be parked in the designated parking field unless you purchase a car camping ticket.

General Admission with Camping – This ticket is for one person and allows entrance into the event Friday July 18th after 9:00am until Sunday July 20th 7:00pm. With this ticket you are able to set up a tent in the designated tenting area.

One Day Passes and Day Pass Combo- This ticket is for one person who will be attending during the hours of 9:00am till midnight. You are not spending the night in any location on the PSHS property. You will park your vehicle in a new parking area along the driveway leading back to PSHS. You will not be permitted to drive your vehicle into camp. We recommend you bring a cart/wagon or backpack to bring your belongings into the festival.  

Car Camping near Circle. – This ticket is for spots where you can park your car near all the action and sleep inside your vehicle. (not tenting) You will not have water or electricity hook up. This ticket is for one person and the site. If another person is sleeping in the vehicle with you, they will need to purchase a GA ticket with Camping.

Quiet Car Camping in Back of Camp Upper Field. – This ticket is for those who love Moon Groove but also like some quieter space. This ticket will allow you to park your SUV in the back upper field and have room for a tent next to it. There is no water or electricity close to that area. None four wheel drive vehicles are discouraged. Or you can drop your gear off and park your car in the main lot. This is a quiet area, we ask that there is no music in this area, and that you reframe from bringing all your friends to that area to hang out. This is a field, and it is not level. But you will have the most amazing view of the stars at night. If someone is staying with you in this are they will need a GA ticket with camping.

Car Camping Front Field Near Office. – We will have a limited number of car camping spots in the main field by the front gate. This ticket will get you one parking space for your vehicle and one parking spot for a tent/ezy up. This is not level ground and there is no electricity or water. If someone is staying with you they will need to buy a GA with Camping Ticket.

Small RV w/o Hookup in Office Field. – We have limited spaces in the upper field for small RV’s This area is not level. We encourage you to arrive on Thursday and not leave till Sunday evening or Monday. As this area fills up and maybe challenging to maneuver. If you arrive Saturday late morning, you might not be able to get into your site. This ticket is for the spot and one GA ticket.  Others staying with you will need a GA tenting ticket.

Thursday Night Add On. This ticket allows you to enter the grounds after 3:00pm on Thursday. You can come in beat the rush and get your site set up. Please plan your trip accordingly. DO NOT arrive at 1:00 and expect to enter the event. Please respect this and please respect our staff. You will not be able to enter the property before 3:00pm.

Monday Late Check Out -Would you like to relax after the event and enjoy camp till 8:00pm on Monday? You can now purchase a Late Check Out ticket. Why rush back to work? Stay an extra night.

Those staying in a PSHS Cabin or Hotel. You will need to purchase a GA with camping ticket.

Any and all arrival/camping/attendance prior to 3:00pm on Thursday July 17th and/or after 5:00pm on Monday July 21nd will require you to pay the full day rate at the PSHS office.

Common Questions

What is nudism?

Nudism is the practice of nonsexual social nudity, usually in mixed-sex groups, often at specially defined locations, such as nude beaches or nudist clubs. Nudists believe in the naturalness of the naked body, and in the medicinal, therapeutic, or relaxing properties of unself-conscious social nudity. They believe that modesty and shame are socially imposed restrictions on the freedom of the naked body, and that eroticism is not a necessary condition of nakedness.

Must I go nude?

Nope, that is up to you. The only place you must be nude is in the pool or hot tub. Zero pressure. You will feel very welcomed by all. This is one of the most inclusive, non-judgmental places you will find on earth.

Is there a sexual side to this event?

That is a great question. Being nude does not mean being sexual. There is no public display of suggestive or actual sexual acts. Any activity or person(s) that make you feel uncomfortable should be reported immediately to security/staff.

Can I take photos and video?

No, No and NO. There is zero use of cameras and phones. If it is in question you are taking photos or videos, we will ask to see the device and escort you from off the property. Local officials will be notified. We will have an official photographer so that it is safe and with consent.

Can I have my phone?

Yes, in your tent or off the property. If you are seen with your phone out, we will ask to see it and escort you from the property. Local officials may be notified.

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?

Yes, but there will be up charges. You will be required to buy the ticket on Humanitix prior to checking in and entering the event. There will be no cash ticket sales. There is a limited number of tickets, so you risk not getting into the event if you wait too long. Please bring proof of ticket and your ID to the gate. Humanitix ticket sales end on July 15th.

Can I show up any time?

Sunday 9:00am - 6:00pm (Must exit property by 8:00pm unless you have a Late Check Out Pass)

Monday – Must exit the property before 8:00 pm or will be required to buy a PSHS Day Pass.

No, the gate will only be checking people in from 9:00am-10:00pm. Please plan your trip to arrive between these times. You are welcome to exit at any time, but you can only get back into the location between 9:00am-10:00pm. Do not arrive outside of that window of time.

Do I need to buy an admission ticket and a RV ticket?

No, your RV ticket covers your RV site and one person’s admission. This is the same for Car/Van camping. If a couple is in an RV or Car/Van camping- one will buy RV/Car/Van ticket and the other can buy a general camping ticket. No refunds if you buy both. If you are interested in an RV site please email Moongroovefestival@gmail.com.

PLEASE Note that PSHS no longer has an RV Dump Station. They can provide you with a local camp ground to go to dump. There is a small fee.

Can I park my car and camp out of it?

Yes, but only if you buy the car camping ticket and park in the assigned car camping location.

Do I have to carry my items from my car to the tenting area?

No, you are welcome to quickly pull into the off-loading area, set your gear to the side, and then park your car. Please do this very quickly as many people will be doing the same. The car parking is about 300 yards from the camping area.

What happens if it rains?

Well, two things could happen—you get wet, and hopefully you brought a tent. Rain might change the performers’ time, but the weekend will continue. There is no rain date.

What should I bring?

A tent or some type of shelter (or feel free to lie under the stars) food and drink. PSHS does sell ice. Sunscreen!!!! If your bottom has not seen sunlight in some time, it would be a good idea to get some sunblock on that and some other key areas.

How much room do we get for camping?

We are expecting an increase in the number of attendees then years past. Because of this your camping footprint will not be unlimited. Staff will walk you to your spot and designate your area. Please be mindful of the amount of space that you will need. We encourage you to decorate your camp space to add to the moon groove experience.

Can I bring alcohol?

Yes, but no glass bottles. Think about it—naked people walking around on broken glass… Please bring cans or put in plastic cups.

Will there be food?

Our restaurant/food truck will be open Friday to Sunday.

Water

We will provide water around the venue. We encourage you to bring refillable water bottles rather than cases of bottled water.

Can I bring a pet?

Yes, you can but you must clean up after them and they must be always kept on a leash.

If I am a vendor what do I need to bring?

Vendors need to bring their own tables, chairs and easy ups. A cart or wagon to transport your items is recommended. Vendors are not guaranteed electricity.

Can I sell items I made on a blanket by my tent?

No, the vendors have paid a special rate to come in and sell their goods. We will not allow “blanket sales”.

Will there be a schedule of the performers?

Yep! As we get closer to the time we will post the list of performers, location of their performance and times.

Where is the music going to be played?

We will have four locations for the performances, a main stage, a smaller stage in the social hall, a pool party stage and the rage in the cage stage.

Can I get a refund if I do not attend?

PSHS and Porr Productions need to prepare camp ahead of time to accommodate the number of people attending this event. Due to this, we are not able to issue refunds through Humanitix. Legitimate concerns can be addressed with the Porr Productions management. No refunds will be issued until the event is over.

We cannot wait for you to feel this experience. It is a special place. This will be another amazing event. Please always be respectful of those who live on the grounds of PSHS. We want this event to be welcomed back for years and years. Please clean up after yourself, help others, be courteous to others, have a ton of fun, make new friends and enjoy being natural.
