Moon Woman Menopause Retreat

Menopause is a life-changing transition that happens to all women, but is rarely discussed in modern society. In times gone past, this transformation was cause for ceremony and acknowledgement. During this weekend retreat coinciding with the full moon, we aim to recreate this ancient way of recognizing one of the most important phases of our life. 

Workshops and activities include medical and hormone advice from a female doctor, nutritional advice, cacao ceremony and sound journey, intuition workshop, a psychodrama session, Nia dancing, and yoga. For outdoor fun you can choose from a kayak tour, walk to Smuggler’s Bay, snorkeling tour of Reotahi Marine Reserve, or a walk along Kauri Mountain Beach. In the evening you can enjoy music around the campfire (there may be dancing in the moonlight!) or drinks at nearby Parua Bay Tavern. 

You’ll leave this weekend retreat empowered with knowledge on how to navigate your own menopause journey and energized from the experience of joyful connection with other women.
