Thank you for registering your place in the Moonsong workshop. We are in for a wonderful day together.

Here is some important information about how to prepare and what to bring on the day.

Date: Saturday 2nd May 2020

Time: Arrive at 08:45am for a 09:00am start. Finishes at 5:00pm

Venue: f.u.n. Yoga Studio 21 Redbank Rd. Wauchope. NSW

Workshop Preparation:

In the lead up to the workshop, please make time to contemplate and prepare in the following ways:

Please read the Herstory eBook to introduce you to some reasons why we need to reclaim feminine wisdom and reconnect to the wisdom of the cycles
Please reflect and journal on these questions:

what was your experience of your menarche (onset of menstruation)?
what was your experience of menstruation in general, over the years?
what was your experience of giving birth – to babies, careers, projects, art, businesses, gardens, etc – and how does this connect to your menarche?
if you have reached menopause, how does this reflect the themes of your experiences of menarche, menstruation and (if relevant) childbirth?

Know which day you are in your menstrual cycle. (Day One is the first day of bleeding)
If you are not having a menstrual cycle (ie pregnant, breast feeding, peri-menopause, menopause or medical menopause) you are said to be ‘following the moon’. Day One is the New Moon, the first day of the new Luna cycle.
Notice how you are experiencing this.

What to Bring:

Your journal and writing materials.
A talisman or item which represents where you are in your menstrual cycle
A talisman or item which represents where you are in your life cycle
Wear loose, comfortable clothing
Bring a warm wrap or shawl.
Water bottle
Bring your own lunch. Morning and Afternoon tea will be provided

Directions:

21 Redbank Road, Wauchope. NSW

Travelling from Port Macquarie, take the Oxley Highway towards Wauchope

Turn right onto Stony Creek Road.

Go over the Hastings River Bridge and continue on Stony Creek Rd.

Stony Creek Rd will veer off to the right. Stay left it, becomes Redbank Rd.

The Yoga Studio is on the left, just past that intersection. You will see a car parking area

GPS will take you past the venue. If you get to a little bridge on Redbank Rd, you have gone too far
