Moorpark, California Hometown
Description
Join us for a FREE Wildwood Running Hometown Workshop designed to educate, support, and empower female athletes both in and out of competition. This is a unique opportunity to learn about topics that are essential to the health, confidence, and long-term success of girls in sport.
Throughout the day, participants will gain practical tools in mental performance, sports nutrition, female physiology, menstrual health, RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport), confidence, and resilience. Athletes will leave with a deeper understanding of how to fuel their bodies, navigate setbacks, maximize performance, and develop habits that support both athletic success and lifelong well-being.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn from three outstanding presenters:
Anna Hennings, mental performance coach, who will share strategies for overcoming comparison, building confidence, and turning setbacks into opportunities for growth.
Heidi Strickler, sports dietitian, who will cover nutrition for performance and the critical role of fueling and understanding RED-S.
Robyn McGillis, Wildwood Running Co-Founder, who will lead a session on understanding the female performance wave and the unique physiological factors that impact female athletes.
Whether you're an athlete, coach, or parent, this workshop offers valuable education, practical strategies, and an opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about helping girls thrive in sport.
